DESCRIPTION:Area candidates for the Minnesota Legislature will face off in a virtual forum at 7 PM this Wednesday.  There will be panels for House and Senate candidates from Districts 16 and 22.\n\n \n\nDue to Covid restrictions the event will not be open to the public but can be followed live on KMHL AM 1400 and Studio One community television.  Sponsored by the SMSU Political Science Association and Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce\, this is the latest in a series of candidate forums dating to 1992.\n\n \n\nCandidates will be asked questions about current state issues by a panel of local journalists.  \n\nThe public can also submit questions via e-mail to kayleigh.kontz@marshallmn.org by Noon Wednesday.\n\n \n\nNOTE:  If the special session of the Minnesota Legislature conflicts with this date the forum will be rescheduled.
