Please join us for a series of interactive conversations centered on ag innovation and entrepreneurship ventures. Each conversation will explore an aspect of ag innovation in an effort to share ideas, identify synergies, promote collaboration, and explore ideation-to-market strategies. 

The Asmus brothers will share how they started a business in response to help reduce nitrogen-rich water runoff into local ditches from winter manure spreading. Hear how their vertically integrated manufacturing processes manure to create marketable pelleted organic fertilizer. 

Ben Swanson, AURI’s Food Scientist, will highlight emerging food, crop and aquaculture opportunities in Minnesota.


The afternoon will end in small group discussions on startup opportunities and challenges. The results of the conversations will help inform relevant topics for the upcoming conversations.
