Position Summary: Looking for a position that will impact the lives of others every day? Our growing independent financial services firm is seeking a qualified applicant to assist our clients in meeting their financial and insurance goals and life objectives. We have open position(s) for a financial services consultant and/or client services representative who will be challenged to provide superior customer service. The key team member will be charged with ensuring that operations follow stringent government regulations on multiple levels. The position at our local family-owned firm, is for all candidates can develop their positon based on their personal talents. You will have an opportunity to develop and take on new roles and responsibilities within our firm. (Areas of emphasis: Marketing, Financial Planning, Compliance)

A position at an independent financial planning practice will expose the candidate to a wide range of activities relating to investments and insurance products and financial planning services. Our firm works with both individuals and employer groups. With the support of our current experienced team the candidate will have an opportunity to succeed in this career of helping people meet their personal, financial and life goals which is personally gratifying to all of our team members.

Requirements: Candidates must have excellent communication and organization skills with interest in finance, retirement and financial planning. The candidate must be able to intake client inquiries (via telephone, email and personal meeting) and review their requests and work with team members to find and follow up on the best possible solution for their client. Candidates must have the confidence to place outbound requests to clients and companies through all communication avenues to complete pending processing and/or appointment follow up. Position requires someone with a clear knowledge of office operations as well as proficiency in Windows computer environment. A minimum of a two-year administrative degree or related experience required; four-year degree in marketing or business preferred.

To best meet the customer services needs of our clients, the team member must be able to work in Marshall & Slayton locations. This position periodically includes evening and weekend hours. The majority of the scheduled hours will be between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in Marshall. Work hours will be scheduled on a semi-monthly basis, determined by the current activities of the offices. Experience and work ethics will determine wages. Full benefit package is offered.
