This position exists to serve as the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for Southwest Minnesota State University by providing subject matter expertise and advanced strategic HR leadership to administrators, faculty and staff within the designated division on a wide range of human resources functions including but not limited to; employee/labor relations, employee retention, classification/range assignment, compensation, benefits, retirement, orientation and onboarding, and talent and organizational management. The HRBP ensures compliance with collective bargaining agreements, Minnesota State (MinnState) policies, and state and federal laws.
In accordance with the Minnesota State Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State's vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
