The Marshall-Lyon County Library is accepting applications for a part-time Customer Care employee. This position works under the direct supervision of the Public Services Manager. Customer Care’s primary responsibility is to operate the service points in the Marshall Library by helping customers find and check out materials, answering customer questions and providing excellent customer service. As the position that oversees activities on the public floor and interacts with the majority of the Library’s customers, the successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills, a strong desire to help people, robust technology skills and a general understanding of public library operations.
