Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the HR/Finance Director and in accordance
with the policies of the YMCA, the Building Supervisor will be responsible for the
effective and efficient operation of the Marshall Area YMCA during evening and
weekend hours and the monitoring of all part-time hourly personnel. Must be
courteous, friendly, and efficient in providing service to YMCA members and
guests. In addition he/she is to aid the Marshall Area YMCA in fulfilling our
mission to instill the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility
through programs and services that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to
multi-task and monitor part-time hourly personnel. CPR & Basic First Aid
certifications are required and may be obtained after hire by preferred candidate.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND PREREQUISITES: Position requires a person who is able
to set up for programs and rentals. Person must maintain order, assist members
and aid other staff with duties. In addition, a cooperative and interested attitude
in member needs is essential. Also required is the ability to see and hear in order
to monitor and help ensure the safety of members and guests. Position requires
walking through the facility during most of each shift.
